1. License to use Culinaire
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Culinaire for personal, non-commercial kitchen use, subject to these Terms and the app store rules that apply to your download.
2. Accounts
You may create an account with email and password, Google Sign-In, Apple Sign-In, or other methods we offer. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity on your account. Provide accurate information and update it when it changes. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
3. Culinaire Pro subscriptions
Culinaire Pro unlocks premium features such as unlimited AI cooks, planner tools, and grocery generation. Plans may include monthly, quarterly, and annual options, and may start with a free trial.
- Billing for Android is handled by Google Play. When the iOS app is available, Apple App Store billing will apply for those purchases.
- Trials convert to paid subscriptions unless you cancel before the trial ends, according to store rules.
- Manage, cancel, or restore purchases in the store account used for the purchase, and via in-app restore where available.
- Prices shown in the app or on this site may change. The store checkout shows the price that applies to your purchase.
- Refunds are governed by Google Play or Apple policies, not by these Terms alone.
4. Nutrition and allergen disclaimer
Culinaire provides informational tools only. Barcode scores, AI recipes, calorie estimates, and allergen caution checks (pass / caution / unknown) are not medical advice and are never a guarantee of safety. Always read product labels, verify ingredients, and consult a qualified professional for allergies, medical diets, or health conditions. You use Culinaire at your own risk.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Misuse Culinaire for unlawful purposes.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or disrupt the service except where mandatory law allows.
- Upload unlawful, harmful, or infringing content, including photos you do not have rights to use.
- Impersonate others or misuse another person's account.
- Use automated systems to abuse AI, scan, or recipe features beyond normal personal use.
6. Intellectual property
Culinaire, including its name, logo, design, software, and original content, is owned by Orion Omnis or its licensors. Recipe and product data may come from third parties (such as Edamam and Open Food Facts) and remains subject to those providers' terms. You retain rights to content you create, and grant us a license to host and process it as needed to run the service.
7. Third-party services
Culinaire relies on third-party services including Firebase, Open Food Facts, Edamam, RevenueCat, OneSignal, and app stores. Their availability and accuracy are outside our full control. Links to third-party sites or stores are provided for convenience.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Culinaire and related content are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Orion Omnis is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of Culinaire. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for Culinaire Pro in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) fifty US dollars (USD $50), except where liability cannot be limited by law.
9. Indemnity
You agree to defend and indemnify Orion Omnis against claims arising from your misuse of Culinaire, your content, or your breach of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
10. Termination
You may stop using Culinaire at any time and may request account deletion under the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or end access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the product. Provisions that by nature should survive (including disclaimers, liability limits, and IP) will survive termination.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use after we post a new version on this page constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms, except where applicable law requires additional notice or consent.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Orion Omnis, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence apply.
